No wonder there is a shortage of jobs. U.S. Government contractors are firing Americans for administrative support positions and hiring people from India instead. And don't tell me how this is the free market. The government contractors only have the contracts because the U.S government gave them to that company. They should be required to keep those jobs here.

Princess Out of Work? Apply Now!
Job listing for a Princess on a local listserv. Must be gracious and kind. Must wear pre-arranged attire and makeup. Will read story to the party guests and be familiar with princess lore (and perhaps create a little more on the spot.)
Familiarity with the wishes and dreams of preschool girls a requirement, as well as the ability to make sheer fantasy believable. Camp counseling experience is a plus.

"Jobless Recovery" ?!? - No Recovery At All Then
The economy isn't recovering if people don't have jobs. Because as much as you cut workers to become profitable, if that same thing is happening all over the country, the amount of goods and services purchased will be reduced overall because no one will have the money to buy anything.
It will become a cycle of cutting. Demand for goods and services will go down, not just because people are out of jobs, but because fear of losing a job will tamp down demand. Then more workers will have to be fired to make businesses profitable again.
What really counts is employment, not the numbers on Wall Street or overall business profitability.
A lot of upset people out of work means political and social upheaval. Get ready.

J.P Morgan CEO Whines Like a Baby
"JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon said it’s “unfair” for politicians to criticize Wall Street pay without differentiating compensation based on performance." as quoted in Bloomberg.com today.
But it is OK for assembly line workers to have their compensation affected irrespective of performance - right? And if management decisions cause a company to tank, then it is the unions that need to adjust their compensation agreements - right? Not the management. Never the management.
The long-term security of pensions doesn't mean a thing if the management bonuses and private jets are at stake because it's not about the financial burdens at all. It's about who bears the financial burden.
