Our New Treasury Secretary

Look at this guy. This is the face of the guy who is going to set the world's mind at ease about the stability of the dollar? Does it inspire confidence in you? Not Econo-Girl. The man looks like a lunatic, albeit one that is on steroids. Note to White House: it is possible to be strongly insane.

What did you expect from W?

I'am looking at both persons in the photo. So, now the answer. They both could be the Treasury Secretary if looking like a lunatic is what gets you the position.

He's okay.

Snow stold 50 million from the shareholders of CXR ( a government regulated industry). He was appointed by Bush and then Bush said he didn't know him.

The new guy is okay.

Your refering to the guy on the left, I take it, the one who's listening...?

I had a neighbor back the 60's in Pensylvania. He was a 19 years old German Soldier when he was captered by American's in France. He was brought to a U S prison camp in Texas. When it was time for his return to Germany. He jumped of the train in New Jersy and he became a grateful American Citizen Why? I asked did he stay in USA ? Because he was treated better by Us, then He was in Germany. Maybe there is a message there. Brian, wwwwhny@gmail.com

....."The man looks like a lunatic, albeit one that is on steriods".....You're judging a man's qualifications to be Treasury Secretary based on what he looks like? Good grief! You want to begin a national discussion on torture? I don't think you are up to the task.

The problem with propping up the Dollar is that the people who own the US Japan England the Saudi's would lose their shirts if the Dollar found its true level. So the Dollar floats on.

I have a human rights background and was looking forward to great discussion on this blog...until you judged a person by his appearance in a photo...relevance?

For Heaven's sake. This was written a while ago, and you have to admit that he looks a little odd in that picture. That's all. No deep analysis. Just a snarky remark.

So you can't have a good discussion on human rights on the previous posts? One bad joke, and you throw in the towel?
