Sallie Mae Gets It Right: HIre Americans. The Big Four are Traitors.

List of traitors who need to follow Sallie Mae example: Booz Allen Hamilton, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG/BearingPoint, Deloitte Touche.

Sallie Mae recognizes how dependent it is on the Federal government. So it decided to do the good business thing and get rid of the support jobs in foreign lands and bring those jobs back home.

Booz Allen Hamilton, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG/BearingPoint, Deloitte Touche are not so smart. They all make a fortune off of Federal Government contracts. Yet, all of their support staff, hundreds of formerly American jobs, are in India now.


When you make your money off of American taxpayers, you need to hire Americans. It seems like obvious business sense, but I guess anyone can get a big head and think they don't need to pay attention to the basics of their business. You know, like Wall Street.

Come on, try and get at least some facts in here.

"All their support staff" haven't been off-shored. I'm one of them, and I'm still here, in the US of A.

Funny, all the criticisms of this post are only the absolute nature of the statement.

MANY have been outsourced to India. MORE are being outsourced every day. HUNDREDS OF JOBS have been taken from Americans and sent to India.

And you make it seems like these are american companies with an obligation to hire americans for their support services. These are multinational firms with the majority of their partners(the owners of the company) overseas. Just because their "headquarters" is a building in nyc does not make these companies even close to being american. Even if they were american companies, freeing up costs by outsourcing gives them more money to hire more american auditors. The only product they provide is that of their employees. Its not like they are collecting the cash they save by outsourcing. they are hiring more people.
